  1. Hi

    Have had a quick look at the rule pack, and a new one to the combat patrol rules is the exclusion of vehicles with more than 2 HP… which rules out most vehicles. There is then a further point to say that each army is allowed to bring 1 flyer/vehicle with more than 2HP provided it fits below the old 33 armour value threshold.

    I just wanted to clarify this was correct as it renders my 2 squads of wyches in 2 raiders illegal regardless of what my teammate takes, and I may have to do a hasty redesign of the army I’m bringing (which would be a crying shame, as I have an awesome theme lined up this year…) The rulepack seemed fairly clear but as it would quite a change compared to last year I thought I’d double check. Thanks.

    • Hi Ian
      we talked about the Nec Field combo with in Escalation and felt the HP 2 rule worked well and keepted upto date with the New 6th ed rules.
      Yes it will mean anumber of vehicles will not be allowed we tried to keep a bit of balance with the 1 33 / flyer etc rule

  2. We had few enquires regarding FW models/units
    IF people want to use them the will HAVE to notify us before hand
    Any ACCEPTED will be posted up on here for notification to any other players to analysis and be able to counter witi in their purposed list builds (we won’t nesccarrly name the culpirts to protect the innocent)

  3. Hi Ian Connolly,
    If I’ve worked it out right, with only 2 Hull Points then your Dark Eldar can take 5 passengers per Venom Transport (the only Transport with 2 Hull Points!), Space Marines can take Stormtalon Gunship flyer (the only Flyer with 2 Hull Points) and can take Land Speeder (including Land Speeder Tornado or Typhoon), Imperial Guard can take Armoured Sentinel or Scout Sentinel walkers, Orks can take Warbuggy or Wartrak or Killa Kan walker, Tau can take Piranha skimmer, Eldar can take Vyper skimmer or War Walker.
    (All other vehicles have 3 or more Hull Points, so no Rhino, Razorback, Chimera, Night Scythe, Raider, etc, etc).

    Dan Currey is the guru organising Winds of War, so if in doubt “ask the expert” !
